A full executive team to a regional plant and back inside a working day, on a strip with no scheduled service.
The destination had an airfield and no airline. Scheduled routing would have cost the team two nights away and most of a third day. We put a PC-12 on the grass strip nearest the plant, held the aircraft on the ground while the meeting overran by fifty minutes, and had everyone back at their home base that evening.
The aircraft was chosen for the surface rather than the brochure. A light jet would have been faster in the air and unable to land at either end.
