The tower sat on a ridge with no vehicle access. The load went in underslung, on a line, with the pilot working to a ground marshal because the drum was not visible from the cockpit at the moment of placement.
Longline flying is unforgiving and weather-dependent. On this job the honest answer on the first morning was that the wind was wrong. We flew it the following day.
