Nose-mounted stabilised camera work for expedition filming across the Namib and the Okavango.
A stabilised gimbal is fitted, balanced and tested before the unit arrives. The pilot flies a repeatable line to the frame; the camera department owns everything inside it. Ten years of expedition work with one international art institution, plus production units who bring their own crew and expect us to disappear into the background.
The permits are part of the job. Low-level and filming approvals are where most aerial shoots quietly lose a day.
